Reducing single-use plastic in foodservice is the reason GreenLoopPack exists. We work with two product lines, organized around material composition so you can choose what fits your sustainability goals and local waste infrastructure.

Our Material Lines

Zero-Plastic series — made from sugarcane bagasse and wheat straw, pure plant fiber with no plastic content, suitable for composting where industrial or municipal composting is available.

Light-Plastic series — corn-starch based products, which in some of our lines are blended with a small amount of food-grade PP (polypropylene) for durability. We describe these accurately as corn-starch/PP blends rather than as fully compostable, because material accuracy matters — see our product pages for the exact composition of each item.

Why This Distinction Matters

“Eco-friendly” claims are only useful when they’re accurate. We’d rather tell a buyer plainly that a product contains conventional plastic blended with plant material than overstate its compostability. If your business needs certified fully-compostable products, our Zero-Plastic series (bagasse and wheat straw) is the right starting point — ask us and we’ll point you to the right SKUs.

Certifications

Product-level certifications (FDA, BPI, OK Compost, etc., where applicable) are listed on individual product pages and our OEM page. Not every product carries every certification — check the specific item you’re sourcing.
